The Grantley Pullover features a striped yoke and a neat garter detail at the raglan increases and down the front and back.
The sweater is worked seamlessly and in the round from the top down. The striped yoke is worked; short rows are worked to raise the back neck; then the sleeves and body are separated and worked top to bottom.
Working from the top down allows you to try on the sweater at different points of construction and modify the body length and/or the sleeve length for a custom fit; these points are noted in the directions.
The sweater is designed to fit with 2-4" of positive ease, so the nine sizes cover a wide range of fits. The sample shown is worked in size B with 4" of ease. When choosing your size, figure your chest measurement plus the amount of ease you want, and select the size closest to that.
The finished chest measurements are: 33 (35, 37, 39, 43) (47, 51, 55, 59)”.
