Q. Why “Liverpool Yarns”?
A. The original flock of sheep lives on a farm in Liverpool, Pa.

Q. Where is your yarn spun?
A. We work closely with Sweitzer’s Fiber Mill in Seven Valleys, Pa., to process and spin our fiber to our specifications.

Q. Where are you located?
A. We ship all our yarn from Philadelphia, Pa.

Q. Do you have a store?
A. We sell our yarn online and at various fiber festivals and trunk shows.

Q. Do your yarns have dye lots?
A. Technically, no. Our yarns are undyed. Our natural colorways do change slightly from year to year, depending on the colors of our original flock of sheep in any given year. So, the year the yarn was spun essentially becomes the “dye lot” number, which can be found on the yarn label.

Q. Do you sell wholesale?
A. Not currently. We sell our yarn online and at fiber festivals and trunk shows.

Q. How do I take care of my Liverpool Yarns Shetland wool hand knits?
A. We recommend hand washing in cool water, using a wool wash such as Soak or Eucalan. Knitter’s Review has excellent step by step directions on washing your handknits. Liverpool Yarns are not superwash and should never be put in the washing machine or clothes dryer.
