A classic circular yoke sweater worked from the neck down, the Perry Valley Pullover combines neutral stripes and a bright band of stranded color work.
The instructions are written, and the color work section is charted. Working from the top down allows you to try on the sweater at several different points of construction and modify the body length and/or the sleeve length for a custom fit; these points are noted in the directions.
The sweater is designed to fit with 2-4” of positive ease, so the eight sizes cover a wide range of fits. The sample shown is worked in size B with 3.5” of ease. When choosing your size, figure your chest measurement plus the amount of ease you want, and select the size closest to that.

3 (3, 3, 4) (4, 4, 5, 5) skeins MC; 3 (3, 3, 4) (4, 4, 5, 5) skeins CC #1; 1 skein CC #2; 1 skein CC #3. Sample shown in Twig (MC), Bark (CC #1), Firewheel (CC #2), Buttercup (CC #3).
If you want to add length to the body and/or sleeves, you will need additional yarn in MC and CC #1.
US size 2 (2.75 mm) and US size 4 (3.5 mm) needles were used; swatching is highly recommended to obtain the gauge of 24 sts and 32 rounds = 4" after blocking.
