We put five colors together to create the wide stripes that span the New Buffalo Scarf. Worked in Stockinette stitch, the scarf begins with a few stitches at one tip, increases along one side to the center point, and then decreases back to the other tip.
The pattern is written and takes you stripe by stripe through the increases and decreases. The finished measurements are a wingspan of approximately 69" and width at center back approximately 23".
The kit includes a printed copy of the pattern and five skeins of Liverpool Fingering yarn in the colors shown: Fawn, Chicory, Ironweed, Trillium and Angelica .
In addition, you will need:
- US size 4 (3.5 mm) 24" circular needle. The shawl is worked flat; the circular needle is to accommodate the number of stitches.
- Blocking wires (optional but recommended)
- Yarn needle
